Mayan Route – 12 days

Day 1º. (WED) – Cancún – Chichén Itzá

In the morning, we will be accompanied by our guide toward Chichen Itzá .We will begin our adventure with the visit in boat by the biosphere Reserve of Ria Lagartos in Yucatán, the habitat of the largest flocks of flamingos in Mexico. We will continue with the visit of Las Coloradas Beach, known by its concentration of salt and microorganisms that dye a peculiar pink giving the visitor a great spectacle. We will continue to our hotel in Chichen Itza. Lodging


Day 2º. (THU) – Chichén Itzá – Mérida

Breakfast. Today we will have the opportunity to appreciate the sunrise from the archaeological site of Chichén Itzá. Site visit and then we will continue to Mérida. On our arrival, we will do a panoramic visit of the city. Lodging


Day 3º. (FRI) – Mérida – Uxmal – Campeche

Breakfast. Today we will visit the archaeological center of Uxmal. In the middle of the afternoon we will arrive to Campeche. Lodging


Day 4º. (SAT) – Campeche – Palenque

Breakfast. In the morning, we will do a panoramic visit of the city. Later, we will leave Campeche with destination to Palenque to visit one of the most fascinating archaeological centers of the Mayan world Lodging.


Day 5º. (SUN) – Palenque – Cascadas – Palenque

Breakfast. Today we will visit the natural waterfalls of Welib Há or Roberto Barrios with its crystalline waters, color turquoise of spectacular beauty. Lodging


Day 6º. (MON)  – Palenque  – El Ceibo –  Petén

Breakfast. In the morning, departure to El Ceibo, frontier point between Mexico and Guatemala. Border proceeding, and we will continue toward the jungle of Petén. Lodging



Day 7 º. (TUE) – Petén – Tikal – Guatemala

Breakfast. Today we visit the Mayan city of Tikal, The jewel of the Mayan Classic World. Lunch in the archaeological site. Transfer to the airport of Flores to take a flight with destination Guatemala City. Transfer to the hotel. Lodging


Day 8 º. (WED) – Guatemala – Iximché – Atitlán

Breakfast. Departure to the Highlands of Guatemala. In route we will visit Iximché, archaeological site that was the old Mayan Capital of the Cakchiquel Kingdom. We will continue to Lake Atitlán, that Aldous Huxley said “it is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world”. Lodging


Day 9º. (THUE) – Atitlán – Chichicastenango – Atitlán

Breakfast. In the morning transfer to village of Chichicastenango, where we will visit one of the most famous indigenous markets in all Latin America. That day, we will enjoy a living experience, where the travelers  will have with the local women, a corn tortilla workshop, the most important staple food in Guatemala. Lodging.


Day 10 º. (FRI) – Atitlán – Santiago – La Antigua

Breakfast. Today we will take a boat to visit the village Tzutuhil of Santiago Atitlán. After the excursion, we will continue to La Antigua, arrival in middle afternoon and orientation tour of this colonial city declared World Heritage Site: ride to the Cathedral, central plaza, main monuments and museums. Lodging.


Day 11 º. (SAT) – La Antigua

Breakfast. Leisure day to enjoy the facilities of your hotel and its natural environments. As an optional activity, in the morning, we can take an excursion to Pacaya Volcano. Lodging           


Day 12 º. (SUN) – La Antigua – Airport Guatemala

Breakfast. Transfer to Guatemala City International Airport. End of our services.

Mayan Route – 12 days

In 12 days the traveler will approach to the most important attractions of the Mayan culture in Mexico and Petén, enjoying the Guatemalan Highlands with the main markets and indigenous towns and also visiting the Mayan city of Tikal and the colonial city of Antigua.

Departure: Wednesday.

Weekly departure: July, August and September.
