Day 1| SAT MARCH 7| Guatemala Aiport – Guatemala City 
Reception at the airport and transfer to our hotel in Guatemala City. Lodging.

Day 2 | SUN MARCH 8 |Guatemala City – Visit City – Airport – Isla de Flores -Petén 
Breakfast. In the morning, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city followed by a visit to the National Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, an iconic space that preserves and showcases the ancestral legacy of the Mesoamerican civilizations that once inhabited Guatemala. Transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Flores, Petén. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Free time to enjoy the hotel facilities and natural surroundings. In the late afternoon, take a stroll around Flores Island. Special dinner in commemoration of Women’s Day. Return to the hotel. Lodging.

Day 3 | MON MARCH 9 | Petén – Tikal – Petén 
Breakfast. Today, we will visit Tikal, the largest known Mayan city. According to archaeologists, up to 100,000 people once lived in Tikal. More than a thousand years after its abandonment, the buildings still stand, battling the encroaching vegetation. We will explore the Central Plaza, including the Temples of the Great Jaguar and the Great Pyramid, the Acropolis, and Temple IV, from whose summit you can see over 50 km of pristine jungle. Lunch will be served at a restaurant inside the archaeological site. In the afternoon, we will return to the hotel. Lodging.

Day 4 | TUE, MARCH 10 | Petén – Airport – Iximché – Lake Atitlán  
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your local flight back to Guatemala City. Upon arrival, reception and departure to the Guatemalan highlands. On the way, we will visit the archaeological site of Iximché, the ancient Mayan capital of the Cakchiquel kingdom. At this sacred site, we will celebrate women’s lives through a Mayan ceremony led by a priestess, including the delivery of the Nahual. After the visit, we will continue to Lake Atitlán, described by Huxley as the most beautiful lake in the world. Lodging.

Day 5 | WED MARCH 11 | Lake Atitlán – San Juan La Laguna – Chichicastenango 
Breakfast. Today, we will take a boat to visit one of the twelve villages surrounding this beautiful lake. We will visit the Tzutuhil village of San Juan La Laguna, known for the harmony with which its inhabitants coexist with nature and culture. We will stroll through its streets to admire the open-air murals created by talented local artists. We will visit art galleries and the women’s weaving cooperative, where they will show us the process of weaving and dyeing using natural dyes obtained from seeds and plants. The day will conclude with a local cooking workshop led by women from the “Deleite Ancestral” cooperative, who will share their culinary secrets with us. Lunch will be served. In the afternoon, we will return to the hotel, where transportation awaits to take us onward to Chichicastenango, a town nestled among valleys and majestic mountains. We will experience the colorful clothing, the pungent scent of incense, and the sounds of prayers from the church steps—all combining to overwhelm the traveler’s senses.. Lodging.

Day 6 | THU, MARCH 12 | Chichicastenango – Mercado – La Antigua 
Breakfast. In the morning, visit the impressive market of Chichicastenango, one of the most important in Latin America, held twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. The heart of the market is the central square, where the commercial life of the “Masheños,” the citizens of Chichicastenango, unfolds. This vibrant market offers everything from flowers, vegetables, fruits, and animals to handicrafts and textiles. Today, we will participate in an experiential activity: a workshop with local women focused on corn, the staple food of Guatemala. In the afternoon, we will continue to the colonial city of La Antigua Guatemala, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lodging.

Day 7 | FRI March 13 | La Antigua – Visit – La Antigua 
Breakfast. Today, we will take a walk through the cobblestone streets of Antigua, transporting us back to the 17th century. We will pass by the Cabildo and the Palace of the Captains General, La Merced Church, San Francisco Church, and other colonial sites. In the background, the Agua Volcano will silently witness our journey. Farewell group lunch will follow. The rest of the afternoon is free for your own discoveries. Lodging.

Day 8 | SAT, MARCH 14 | La Antigua – Guatemala Airport 
Breakfast. Transfer to the International Airport of Guatemala City. End of our services.
